This\u00a0past June, a friend and I took a drive and then a\u00a0ferry\u00a0to Grand Isle, Vermont\u00a0to photograph my good friend Stacey\u2019s marriage to Will. The entire wedding was held\u00a0at a\u00a01903\u00a0historic\u00a0lake house<\/a>. They chose all local Vermont wild flowers\u00a0in\u00a0simple jars for\u00a0the tables which set a sweet, playful tone for the day. Will\u2019s brother was their wedding officiant\u00a0as they walked down the outdoor aisle to the musicians<\/a> playing\u00a0the Beatles song \u201cIn My Life<\/a>\u201c. Their wedding day came together perfectly and suited Stacey\u00a0& Will\u2019s\u00a0style and personality\u2019s just right. It was wonderful to see Stacey so happy and also be there to photograph it all.<\/p>\n
